In replying to Mr Wright, the PRIME MiNiiSli'Eß stated that if it was desired by any community that Government butchers' shops should bo opened in its midst, application should be made to the local authority, to the Government, or the Board of Trade. When an application came to hand the Government was wiling to do in any centre as was done in Auckland.
