WELLINGTON, August 21. The executive of tho New Zealand Municipal .association to-day resolved that the Government l>e asked ,fcr amending legislation to deal more efficiently with obfectionafole posters.

Remits were recommending that tho Government s-übsidy to hospital and charitable aid boards be 20s in the pound to sanatoria 245, and that the Government subsidise all hospitil :uid charitable aid boards to the extent of ?0s in the pound for oapital- expenditure; also that the State take oyer the control and maintenance of all indigent ohildren.
