BRYDONE SKATING RINK

Tho private owning- given by the Maori Hill Band at the Brydono Skating Rink last night proved meet successful. There was a large attendance both of skaters and spectators, all of -whom seemed to enjoy themselves immensely, judging by tho gaity which prevailed. During the "course of tho evening the band (under Mr Simpson) rendered a number of musical selections, which were heartily aprvrociated, especially by those on the "rollers." Mr Andrews was the floor manager, and under his capable supervision tho function v»as conducted in a suitable manner. The band deserves congratulation on the success of the evening, and tho proceeds will be of considerable material value to it.
