.». r ,. Til^ i monthly meeting: of tho Dunedin l'iro Board was held vesterdav; present— Messrs T. Chalmer (in tho chair), J. Arkle, W. A. Scott, and J. S. Webb. Tho only business that came before tho mooting was tho consideration of the committee's report, which road as follows:— It lias boeu agreed with the City Council to reeonvey tho old South Dunedin Station property to it in consideration of a cash payment by tho council ajid cancellation of tho board's liability or unpaid' balance of original valuation. Accounts amounting to £556 4s 2d havo been paeaed for payment, tho financial position as at August 14 showing a credit balance of £2224 19s ad, after payment of accounts. The report was adopted.
