Gordon Coatcs, the. member xn Kaipara, is mentioned in the latest list of decorations for acta of gallantry in the field. He has had the distinction of winning' the Military Cross, and keep pleasure ■was, expressed among hie friends sx parliamentary circles to-day that ho has liad the honour bestowed upon him. , A Press Association message odds that in the House of Representatives last evening, Mr Massev etated that, on seeing, the fact announced in the press, he cabled congratulations to Captain Coatos, M.P., on his .being awarded the Military Cross.'
