DEATH.

CAMPBELL. —On July 31, killed while in action, William Buchanan Campbell (Otago Infantry Regiment), farmer, Tuataperc, Southland, nephew of Jno. Campbell, Wellington. RHODES.—On July 31, 1917, killed while in action in France, Robert Wilfred (16th Reinforcements), beloved son of Mr and Mrs Thos. Rhodes, East Gore; aged 20 years. TARLETON. —On August 10, 1917, died from wounds received while in action in France, Private Michael James Tarleton (D Company, 23rd Reinforcements), dearly beloved eldest son of Maria and tho late Christopher Tarleton, 375 Rattray street, Dunedin; aged 34 years. Deeply regretted. R.I.P. TOSH. — Diod from siokness "Somewhere in France" (date not given), Private William M'Kenzie Langmuir (First Battalion Rifle Brigade), younger brother of Murdoch Tosh, " Pendrich " Farm, Kaitangata road; aged 30 years. He did his duty.
