SEND-OFF TO THIRTY-FIRST REINFORCEMENTS.
The men of tho Thirty-first Reinforcements are to leave Dunodin to-morrow, but on this occasion the train will not leave until 11 o'clock. This will enable the civic farewell to be held at the Railway Station, but an hour eai-lier than on former occasions. Tho men are to parado at the Drill Hall, Kensington, at 9 a.m., and after the roll-call will bo marched through town to the station. They will leave the hall shortly before 10 o'clock, following the usual route along the Anderson Bay road into Princes street, thence to tho north side of the Octagon, and down Stuart street to tho station. The Maori Hill Band will play the men in, and will also play at the station. The speakers will bo his Worship tho Mayor (Mr J. J. Clark) and tho Rev W. A. Hay, whilst Colonel Smith will address them at the Drill Hall. The ceremony at the station should begin about 10.30 a,m. ,
