Wednesday, May 2. (Bcforo Mr H. A. Young, S.M.) Drunkenness.—One first offender was remanded for seven days for medical treatment, while a second, who did not appear was fined 20s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, and a third was fined 12s including cab hire (2s), in default 48 hours' imprisonment. For a second offence within the past six months, George Cole was lined 20s, or 48 hours' imprisonment. By-lav,' Cases—Sydney Chalmers Alien was fined 10s, with costs (7s), for driving a motor car in Princes street on April IS 1 without it being properly lighted. For driving a vehicle in High street and causing it to stand on a crossing, Robt. Wilson Wyse was fined ss, without costs.—-George Paterson was fined 3s, with costs (7s), for permitting a horsa to wander in Leith Valley without proper guidance. ' Prohibition Order.—A prohibition order was granted against a man on the application of his wife.
