QUEEN'S THEATRE.
" Th? Bondage of Fear," an eventful and emotional World production, fills the leading place in the new programmo shown at tile Queen's Theatre yesterday. Ethol Clayton, appears in the part of the heroine, who is happily married to a wealthy man in New York. A former lover of- her contuiucs to call on hor, and on one occasion when her husband is out ho hides in her room, thinking he hears the husband com- | n o- 'fhe newcomer, however, is not the a i" 1 ' a burglar of,, dangerous type. A struggle ensues in which the burglar shoots the lover., The fact that the tragedy lias taken placoSn her bedroom makes it impracticable for Ethel to inform the police. Ihe murderer not only gets away free, but proceeds to levy systematic blackmail on , . Ho oversteps the mark at last, and she shoots him dead and succeeds in escaping any; blame for doing so. A feature pf the picture is its novel and artistic sub-titling "A Corner in Water" and the Gaumont Graphic are the other films.
