Ar. a public meeting at Balclutha the following gentlemen were elected to the executive of the local branch of the Second Division League Messrs R. R. Stewart (chairman), A. D. Gibson (secretary). W. E Allen (treasurer), E. J. Boyd, R. Dunne, J. Cochrane, M'Naughton, j. Peterson, and Caxon. • It was decided to make a thorough canvass of the Clutha County and neighbouring districts,'ami, in order to expedite the work of enrolling members, sub-branches will be formed at Stirling, Greenfield, Clydevalo, Ilillend, To Ilouka, Waitapoka, Wanvera, Clinton, Romahapa. Port Molyncux, Owaka, and other centres throughout, the Catlins district. A largo number of members have already been enrolled, and the secretary was instructed to obtain 1000 additional enrolment 0 forms from the Dunedin Executive.
