ADDITIONAL RESULTS. (Peb Ukited Press Association.} ' AUCKLAND, April 26. The following is the result of the mayoral election for Oneliunga:—Mr Boyd, 883 votes; Mr Davis, 669; Mr Sutherland, 448. Tho election was largely contested on tho issue of the Zoo. Mr Boyd, who is proprietor of the Zoo, was elected. Mr 0. Nichlson defeated Mr Stewart for the mayoralty of Mount Eden. HAMILTON, April 26. Mr J. W. Ellis has been electcd Mayor without opposition. ELTHAM, April 26. For the mayoralty Mr T. B. Cramp defeated Mr B. Dive (ex-Mayor) by 308 votes to 263. HASTINGS, April 26. The mayoral election resulted as follows: Mr H. Lan Simson, 1415 votes; Mr Wm. Hart (retiring Mayor), '1381. GORE, April 26. Mr. M'Dougall was re-elected Mayor, polling 600 votes against 302 cast for Mr Burrows. For the mayoralty of Mataura Mr Lowden defeated Mr Brown by 251 votes to 206. GREYMOUTH COUNCIL. - LABOUR BADLY BEATEN. (Per United PtiF.sa Association.! . GREYMOUTH, April 26. The patriotic candidates were returned in the Borough Council elections yesterday, the ticket being returned in toto. Mr W. H. Parfitt headed the poll with 1324 votes, the lowest of nine selected polling 1115. Tho Labour party, _ which made tho issue conscription, ran six candidates. Mr J. Goodall, who sought re-election in the interests of Labour, polled 766, while the lowest Labour candidate polled 460. Tho election proved that Greymouth was loyal and would support enforcement of the Military Service Act. There was a very heavy poll. Labour also failed to gain a' scat on tho Charitablo Aid Board. More than ordinary interest centred in Wednesday's elections, this being no doubt accounted for by the fact that "there were three aspirants for the mayoralty, while there were 11 candidates for the council from which to make a selection, of nine. Out of 680 odd electors on the roll. 443 recorded their votes. The result of the poll for the mayoralty was ns followsAlex. M'Neil, 176 votes; E. J. Boyd, 169; G. W. Wood, 91. The election for councillors .resulted as follows:—Win. Bunten. 364 votes; J. D. Lar.dels, 362; W. G. .Finn, 362; J. Clark, 321; A. Mill, 320; H. H. Gunthorp, 306; C E. Naish. 279; A. Stevenson. 279; G. J. Downes, 274; J. Begg. 224; S: Wright. 216. The first-mentioned nine were elected, including tho three retiring councillors— Messrs Gunthorp, Finn, and Mill.. Mr A. Simson has been elected Mayor of Queenstown by a substantial majority.
