THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY

The Duncdin Lodgo of the above society hold its annual meeting on Wednesday. Mr W. A. Scott (president) occupied tho chair, and there was a good gathering of members. Mr Scott stated that tho two chief events of the year had been the acquiring of the present premises and tho holding of tho annual convention. Tho balance sheet and a statement of the building fund were submitted. These were decidedly satisfactory, and were adopted. Tho election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr T. Scollay; vice-presidents, Miss M. Hartley and Mr W. A. Scott; treasurer. Miss A. Hartley; secretary, Mr C. E. Pell; committee, Messrs J. Grainger and A. E. Scott A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr and Mrs Scott for their efforts, especially in connection witli tho new building.
