PRINCESS THEATRE

The popularity which the Johnson Resale Company has won among Princess Tkeatrc patrons was again shown on Saturday afternoon and evening, when tho theatre was crowded to the doors to see the final performances of "Tho Kissing Maid." This evening tlio company will enter upon its third production, a one-act musical farce, ""The Railway Tangle," which is said to be a capital vehicle of fun, and in many respects superior to its predecessors. On the scenic side, for instance, two or threo splendid spectacles will be provided, the most notable being " the ladder of roses," in which the stage is a bower of roses; and , the " wireless telephone " novelty, which brings artists and audience •into tho closest relations. Tho play has tho quickest comedy action, a snappy plot, plenty of good, clever dialogue, and as the public are already aware, a lively company of comedians, attractive girls, and ballerinas to " got tho piece over." Mr Johnson is supported again by Messrs Harry Burgess, Gus. Franks, Jack Kearns, Ernest Lashbrook, Misses Bello Milletto, Vera Kearns, Lola Hunt, Lydia Carno, and a big bevy of show girls and choristers. Tho vaudeville first part introduces an English entertainer of high repnto in the person of Mr Arthur Croxon, and thcro will also reappear Messrs Geo. D'Alma, and the equilibrist, Edenbury. The entertainment should prove lively and continuous.
