' Fat cattlo were somewhat irregular, but there was practically no change in the average values. Prime fat lambs sold well, and were equalling 9J.d per lb over all. Store sheep were a little firmer in consequence of the recent rain, and there was a riso of 6d to Is per head in fat sheep owing to a smaller yarding. Forward store cattle were in fairly good demand, but for pigs the market was easier, especially for stores.
