He develops into a hero in this direction, and has a, very narrow escape from losing his life Thexo is a terrific- fight between he and Tony, the head of the gang, and the story oventually sees Reggie and the dancing girl, who at one time sneered at him, wed.. In the second episode of " Gloria's Romanoe " Gloria loses herself in tho Everglados, and- finde her way,to tho camp of a band of Seminole Indians. She is held oaptivo, is proposed to by the chief, and rescued by Dr Royco—that is to say, while. the doctor is "busy" on the'lndian chief Richard Franeon picks up the girl and, " bolting" with her, restores her to freedom. Of • course Frune&u is proclaimed a hero. Gloria is unconscious of the circumstances surrounding her fortunate escape. Dr Royco arrives just at ' the moment Franoau ia unblushingly accepting credit which is not due to him. Tho same programme is being shown at tho King Edward Theatre, and at both houses attracted good audiences.
