RETURNED SOLDIERS
MORE MEN ARRIVE. CFKB UhITED Pbms ABSOCIATIO*.} AUCKLAND. March 6. Two overseas vessels arrived this morning, and brought men back from active service. The great majority have come back unfit for active service, but a few are on furlough, and a number have returned to' report for duty. The first ship to arrive brought six officers, four non-commissioned officers, and' 35 men. The other vessel brought a total of 69 of all ranks. Of these, one non-com-missioned officer and 10 men are for Auckland, while 19 of the non-commissioned officers will report at Wellington for duty. The Mayor boarded both vessels, and extended a welcome on, behalf of the citizens.
