OTAGO EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the committee was held, on Monday aitemoon, Mr D. Reid (president) in the chair. The following resolution was carried unanimously ; —"That the committee' of the Otago .Early Settlers' Association conveys to Colonel the Hon. James Allen and the Hon. Mr Justice Denniston (both being members of our association) its hearty con° gratulations on the well-merited honours conferred, on them; and also to Colonel Robert. 'Logan, A.D.C., Administrator of Samoa. ' It was resolved to hold the usual anniversary reunion on March 23.
