A VERIFICATION.
Mr A. W. Martin, the Rupture Specialist, has been asked for just ono case in point to prove his assertion that numbers of his ex-patients are now serving at the front, and produces the following particulars in compliance:—Mr Richard Emerson, of Newmarket Hotel, Auckland, was operated upon when a 1 >oy by Dr M., of Christchurch, but rupture recurrcd. Ho was operated upon again by the house surgeon at" Christchurch hojj).tal when 18 years of ago, with the result . that rupture recurred on both sides. In 1905, at C'unstchurch, underwent treatment at the hands of Mr A. W. Martin, sole controller of the Dr J. A. Sherman method of curing rupture, and was so thoroughly cured that when, on the 13th December la«t he apptxired before Dr Talbot (Auckland) he wj.s passed as fit for the front; enlisted, and leaves with the 26th Reinforcements. Mr Martin may bo consulted at his Rooms. Samson's Build'ngs. Dowling street. Dunedin. Hours: 10 to 12 noon; 2to 5 5 p.m. ; Saturday, 10 to 12 noon. Extra hours: Monday evening, 7 to 8.
