Jones (district railway enarineer) wrote stating that the Waikomiti Co-unty Coune.il had agreed to mamtain warning signals at th" crossing near Warrington, and he had therefore agreed to have these signals erected. The New Zealand Automobile Union wrote_ statmjr tint the Marlborough Association had suggested that, a meeting of the executive should be called for the purpose of framing a comprehensive insurance scheme for members of the union, and asking for suggestions regard ng such a scheme. —The communication was received, and it was. decided that tho cluib liad no suggestions to offer. Mr Ansel! moved that the Cycle Committeo be instructed to find a suitable dato within the next two months for the purpose of holding a series of raccs on the Warrington beach.—Mr Wright seconded tho motion. —Mr Moody moved as an amendment that the races bo held on tho Forbury Park track, contingent on the track being available; that, otherwise, the raccs he hold at Warrington'.—Mr Gibson seconded the amendment, which was carried. It was decided to write to tho city engineer drawing his attention to the bad state of the road between the Kensington Hotel and the car sheds, and at the railway crossing adjacent to the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's premises. It was decided to appoint Messrs Stevenson and W. T. M'Farlane a deputation to wait on the Green Island Borough Council to draw its attention to the bad state of tho road at Brown's HilL
