CHRISTCHUJRCH, January 31. At the Addington market to-day the yarding of fat cattle was smaller than that of last week, but there were larger offerings of iat lambs and fat sheep. btore sheep of which the bulk were lambs, also found a largo yarding-, and there was a good entry of store cattle. Fat cattle opened easier but recovered towards the end of the sale, and the same course characterised the fafc lamb market, which was down la to Iβ 6d per head at the commencement of the sale, but became better at the close. Fat sheep also opened a little easier, but firmed up io last week's rates, and in some cases even higher. Store sheep met with a. good sale for forward sorts, and for- the better classes of ewes, but backward' and inferior descriptions were easier.
