A Press Association message from Wellington states that the death has occurred, at the age of 70 years, of Mr_ William Prince, who has been long identified with Wellington, and was at one time assistant manager of the Queen's wharf. On the formation of the Harbour Board Mr Prince entered its service, and was wharfinger for 21 years, retiring 10 years ago. Mr T. Hustwick, formerly Government analytical chemist, died at Wellington last Saturday, in his eightieth year. He left the Old Country for Australia about 40 years ago, and carried on business at Ballarat. Later he came to New Zealand, and lived at Nelson and Blenheim, and nearly a quarter of a century ago went to Wellington, where he had resided ever since. He retired from the. Government service about seven years ago. He was for years a prominent member of the Wellington Bowling Club.
