A French communique states: Tho enemy bombarded the rogion of Louvememt and Cambrettes.
Our air squadrons bombed the railway stations at Dun-sur-Meuse and Montmedy, and tho bivouacs at Azanuos.

AN INTER]'STING CEREMONY.

PARIS, December 19. A touching little ceremony took placo at Headquarters, when General JofYro bade farewell to his command and introduced General Nivelle to bis Stall'.
General Nivelle, in reply, paid a glowing appreciation to the victor of the Marne (Ucneial Mangin). General Jottre then returned to Paris, to take up his duties as Generalissimo.
FRENCH AIRMAN KILLED. PARIS, December 19. Captain Bcauchamps, who bombed Munich railway station on November 16, has been killed'in an aerial duel at Douaumont. He took part in the raid on Essen on September 23.
DEPORTATION OF BELGIANS. Reuter's Telegrams. AMSTERDAM, December 19. It is estimated that 90,000 Belgians have been deported in the past two montlis.
