CHRIST'S COLLEGE WIN FINALS,

(Psr United Prers Association.) CHRISTCHURCI-I. December 20. In the inter-schools regatta, Christchurch Boys' High School beat Wangarrui Collegiate School by a bare quarter length after a magnificent race. Time, smin 20fcc. In the final. Christ's College defeated Waitaki Boys' High School. After a good start Waitaki soon established a slight lead, but Christ's College, rowing a longer and easier stroke, impressed the spectators more by showing much better combination. The local crew had a load of a length at the end of the first quarter of a mile, and Waitaki. although rowing well, could not decrease the lead. At the end of the first half-mile Christ's College had doubled their advantage, and continually increasing the difference, 'won amidst great enthusiasm by a good four lengths. Time, smin 17 2-ssec.
