THE ROSLYN-KAIKORAI PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.
The final meeting of tho year will be held on Thursday, and tho committee ha? arranged to recommence work on the Lrst Thursday in February. A large amount of material is cut out ready to be made up during the interval, and wool may also be obtained in any quantity. It is hoped thatmany will avail themselves of this opportunity to help tho association, as it is intended to hold a sale, of work early next year. A number of small articles have been prepared and will also be given out for work during tho holidays. Next Saturday a stall will be held in town in conjunction with the Port Chalmers and NorthEast Valley brandies, the proceeds to go ir aid of the Christmas Parcels Fund. Donations of goods, such as produce and flowers, will be most welcome. Cakes arc also required for the children's entertainment on Saturday. The following donations arc acknowledged:—Monetary: Dominion Parrels Fund —Mrs Dawson. Mrs Jones, Miss Callend-T, "G. 5.," Mrs Dawson's Sunday school class. Collected by Mrs Corbett, 7s. Goods: Mrs Johnston, Mrs Sutherland, Mrs Madden, Miss Thrnp, Mrs Throo. Amy Thomas. Miss Morris, Mrs W. E. Chisholm, Mrs Silingcr. Kathleen Hamilton sent in 7s 7d for the Red Cross, the proceeds from the sale of sweets 'made by herself.
