Tho smcliiir; returns of the Mount Morgan Gold Mining Company (Queensland) for the two four-weekly periods ended September 28 (August being in parentheses) as follows: —On treated: Mount Morgan, 14,864 (15,864, tons; Many Peaks 5119 (5561) concentrates 3422 (3153 tons), and products 116 (116) tons. Blister copper produced, 750 (760) tons, containing 740 (751) tons copper and 7650 (9120) ounces gold. Tho Many Peaks ore contained approximately 72 (82) tons copper and 40 (50) ounces gold, and the secondary products, 18 (19) tons copper and 9 (7) ounces gold. Matter on hand contains 40 (44) tons coppcr and 500 (550) ounces gold. The concentrator treated 11,230 (13,197) tons, producing 3365 (3765) tons concentrates, containing 234 (272) tons copper and 2482 (2958) ounces gold.
