CONNOR.—On _ September 28, 1916, killed while in action in France, Leonard Smith Connor (Main Body, New Zealand Expeditionary Force), youngest son of the late Charles and Agnes Connor, Stansfield street, Barrfield, Mornington; aged 24 years. MACKENZIE. -On September 27, 1916, killed while in action in France, Sergeant Norman MacLeod MacKenzie (7th Reinforcements), dearly beloved son of Mr and Mrs M. MacKenzie, 48 Duncan street, Dunedin; in his 21st year. Ho did his duty. MONDY. —On October 2, died from wounds received while in action in France, George Irvine, only =on of George Mondy, Royal terrace, Dunedin; aged 25 years. SCOTT. —On October 1, killed while in action in Franco. Robert Hannay Scott, youngest son of the late Professor John Halliday Scotti WHELAN.—On September 15, 1916, killed while in action in France, Corporal Percival James Whelan, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Whelan, Roxburgh; aged 27 years.
