The Kakapo will leave Kaipara about Saturday for Melbourne. The Koromiko left Auckland on Wednesday for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand.
The Monowai arrived here yesterday morning from Lyttelton, and will sail to-day for Auckland, via way porte.
The Japanese steamer Buyo Maru, which is at, present discharging phosphates at Port Chalmers, will probably leave to-morrow for Sydney. Shortly before 7 o'clock on Tuesday morning the cargo steamer BooraJ, running under the New Zealand Shipping Company's flag, arrived at Aucldand from Montreal, via Panama Canal. She will reach Wellington in about a week's time.
The C. and D. chartered steamer Vermont, which arrived at Auckland at 2.30 a.m. on Saturday from New York, via Panama Canal, has been delayed in discharge in the northern port by heavy rain. The ressel is now due at Wellington this afternoon. After putting out 1265 tons of cargo at Wellington the Vermont is to sail direct for Duneain, and from liero she will proceed to Australia. The Vermont is one of the Commonwealth's recently purchased fleet of cargo vessels. This boat, which is to be renamed the Australfield, was bought for £110,000. Under the heading of " Barque from Liverpool," a statement has been circulated that a barque named the Antuco is to sail from Liverpool for Wellington and Dunedin Wharf (says an exchange). For the past three years an advertisement has appeared
in the London shipping journal, Fairplay, stating that the barque Antuoo (1436 tons). A 1 at Lloyd's, has sailed from Liveipool for Now Zealand. This first appeared in Fairplay in 1913, and still appears in the advertising columns of that journal, without any alteration. It is difficult to surmise tlio reason for this statement. It is obviou.s that if the Antuoo left London three years ago she should have arrived here long beforo this, but a glanco at Lloyd's Register reveals the fact that thore is no such vessel of that namo afloat!
