The Corinna will leave hero oil Friday for iNew Plymouth, via way ports. The Rosamond is expected to roach DunlEdin to-day from Greymouth. 'ilio Karon is due here this morning from Tiinaru with coal irom Westport. * The Monowai is due here this morning from Auckland, via* way ports, and will leave on the, return journey on Friday. The Kaiapoi will leave Auckland about the end of the week with cargo for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and JJunedin. The Poherua. loaded for (Jamaru and Dunedin, is bar-bound at Grej mouth, and the Kittawa, with cargo for Bluft and Dunedin, is held up at Westport for a similar reason. The Wanimoo Las now •completed her survey, and -will loavo Port Chalmers this morning for Uamaru and other northern ports, afterwards proceeding to Newcastle to load coal lor hew Zealand. The Hattio Luckcnbach, which left New York for New Zealand, via. Panama, on July 27, is expected to arrive in Auckland during the first week in September. ijho ss expected to take about 42 dajs to do the trip to Auckland. As tho manifests have not arrived, it is not oscertainable •what her cargo will be. The American-built steamer Edgar F. Luckenbach, which paid her first visit to Dunedin yesterday to complete the discharge of her oil cargo, attracted a good deal of interest and attention on the water front. She is practically a new vessel, and the line to which she belongs and her poit of registry are marked in largo and emphatic typo on both sidts of her hull. She as equipped with splendid facilities for tho handling of cargo, including special dcuicKs for ra sing heavy w eight.% and has four masts and eight largo nolds. After a passage of "40 davs the steamer Walton Hall, 4932 tons, aimed in Lyttelton from New Yoik on Monday, The vessel came out Ma Panama Cinai, and after discharging about 900 tons of cargo at L\ttclion she will come on to # I>unpclin, and ■will later proceed to Austialia. In conversation with a Lvttelton Times reporter, Captain Clark stated that, the trip had been uneventful. He cleared New York on July 19, and eight days later reached Colon. "Whilst on tho Atlantic tho vessel was fortunate to m-ss the cyclone encountered by the Essex and other vowels Tho Walton Hall replenished her bunkers and left Balboa on July 29. Tho Walton Hall is of the, well-deck type and has good ear"o working' gear. Sho is manned by English officers, ■with an Indian crew. She is in command of Captain G. Clark, who is m.-iking his fir=t visit to New Zealand, although he has been connected with tho Ilall-Ellcrman Line for many years. Associated wth him are the following officers—Chief, Mr W. Taylor; second, Mr J. Milne; third, Mr T. M'Connell; chief engineer, Mr A. K. Hall; second, Mr A. "Allan; third, Mr C. S. Gibson; and purser, Mr D. Mannickondam. Mr H. Colletto is chief steward, and Mr M. W. Creede wireless operator.
