THE OVERSEAS CLUB.
Notwithstanding last week's strenuous efforts, the work at the club room has been resumed -with fresh vigour, evidently stimulated by tho hearty response to Friday's street collection and Saturday's splendid attendance at tho concert. Tho committee is looking forward to helping the children of the schoolsv and also to sending comforts and dainties to cheer our boys at Christmastide. To all donors of sweets tho committee -wishes to return thanks. As all unsold tickets are to be returned on Wednesday evening, the chairwoman will bo glad if the money for tickets and unsold tickets bo handed in that day. Tho room is open on Monday from 1.30 p.m. to 5 p m., and on Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For tho v.orkers who cannot attend during the day, the room is open on Monday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tho following donations have been received: —Mesdames Turnbull, Lane. Souness (Belgian clothing). "M. S." (£1 and parcel), Mrs Allen (scarf and children's clothing), ''Anon " (Is 6d).
