— Modern Kavalla owes most of its prosperity to the popularity of the Egyptian cigarette —which is not such a paradox as it seems. Some of the best .tobacco in tho world is grown on the plains behind Kavalla, and the shipments o: leaf trom the port are valued at about £1.000,000 per annum. Most of the Kavalla loaf goes to Egjpt, wh.ch grows very little tobacco of its own, and is i-e-exported in the guise of Egyptian cigarettes. '' NAZQL " may be imitated, but it is htii! unequalled for relieving coughs, colds, catarrh and sore throat. Only the genuine is labelled " NAZOL." Refuse substitutes.
