CYCLONE IN JAMAICA

(Received Aug. 17, at 11.5 p.m.) A cyclone has swept Southern Jamaica It is believed that the northern portion of the island ereaped. The banana crops principally suffered. Communication with Kingston is cut of. Some deaths are reported.
