OUTRAM PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE.
A special meeting of the Outram Fatriotio Committee was held on 1 hursclay, when there was a large attendance Mr Chisholm presided. Iho secretary of the Outram Ladies' Patriotic Association wrote suggesting that not less than £10 be voted for the dependents of the men who perished m tiiflt lucent naval engagement. It was decided that £20 be %oted. It was decided to place on record the meeting's deep sense ot ap- » preciation of the great services_ rendered to tlio Empire the late Lord Kitchener, aaicl the great 1 f o Tet caused by his untimely death It was resolved to hold a jumblo S! l«> on the saine lines as tho previous one in October. The sum of £10 was voted to the Ladies' Association for the purchase ot material.
