GOOD MINING AND ARTILLERY WORK, A SUCCESSFUL RAID. ' LONDON, June 10. (Received Juno 11, at 5 5 p.m.) Sir Douglas Haig reports: A party of Gloncesters entered enemy trenches south of Nenve Chapelle and success, fully attacked the garrison. Our heavy artillery destroyed the railway station of Salone, east of La Bassee, setting a train afire and damaging the track. It also obtained good results against strong points behind the enemy's lines north of Kulhich. There has been a good deal of artillery fight= ing east of Ypres, our guns engaging enemy positions successfully. We effectively bombarded the enemy east of Laventie, and exploded sis success* ful mines at Hohenzollern, Hulluch, Neuville, St. Vaast, north-east of Albert. BOTH SIDES BOMBARDING. LONDON, Juno 11. (Recehed June 12, at 0.25 a.m ) Sir Douglas Haig icports: The enemy heavily shelled our trenches noith of the Ypr?s-Comines lailway ard positions west of Hooge, also Souchez Angres. We bombarded enemy positions at La Boiselle and Loos. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. LONDON, June 10 (4 p.m.). The High Commissioner reports: In the Champagne a strong enemy reconnaissance was dispersed by grenades west of Mont Tetu. On the left of the Mcuso bombardment was continued at Avocourt Wood. On the right bank there is a violent action by both artilleries in the region of Thiaumont, Chapitro Wood, and Fumin. The bombardment is iather violent in the sectors of SouvilleandTliavannes, but there was no infantry action.
