ACCUSED SENT TO PRISON. (Per United Pbess Association.) TIMARU, May 31. The Fairlie burglary cases were eoneluded in the Supreme Court this morning. The prisoners were not defended by counsel. The jury returned a verdict of guilty, and his Honor sentenced Martin .Brady (37 years) 1o seven years' imprisonment and declared him an habitual criminal, and Cecil Stanley Barker (33 years) to two years' imprisonment.
