FREE KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the committee of the Dunbdin Free Kindergarten Association was held on Thursday afternoon. Mrs Ulrich occupied the chair.
Miss Goldsmith wrote of a harvest party, held at Oaversham Kindergarten, the fruit and vegetables being afterwards sent to St. Mary's Orphanage. The teachers reported that Mr T. H. Hill had paid a visit of inspection to the schools. 5
It was decided to hold the annual meeting in the Town Hall on Tuesday, May 23. The treasurer acknowledges with thanks tho following subscriptions:—Messrs Speight and Co. £2 2s, Lady M'Lean, Mrs Lindo Ferguson, Mr Fyfe, and U.S.S. Co. each £1 Is, New Zealand Hardware 00., Messrs Wm. Taylor and Co., Laid law and Gray, Geo. Ritchie, Mesdames Hercus, D. Wilkie, Shennan 10s 6d each, D. S.A., Messrs John Wilkison, J. W. Hardy, Mesdames Russell Ritchie, Kahlenburg, and Miss I. G. Rattray 5s each.
