PARENTS' NEGLECT.

Referring to the British Medical Association's attitude towards tlhe treatment of, school children, Mr Griffith (Minister of Health) said that last year the parents of 57,000 children had been notified of defects, but 40,000 of the children had never been treated.

The conference endorsed the Minister's attitude.
