LOAN PROPOSALS REJECTED
(Pun United Phess Association.) WELLINGTON, May 3. Tho Karori ratepayers voted to-day on two proposals—to borrow £13,670 for a water service, and £15,330 for drainage. Both were lost—tho former by 146 votes to 94, and tho latter by 161 votes to 97.
