IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, May Z. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Sim.) Probate was granted in the estates of the undermentioned persons:—Alexander Miller, John M'lndoe, Patrick Malier, Duncan C. James Ingle, Donald Malcolm (re-grant), Edgeworth Richard Ussher, Edward Rainsford, John Gage (Te-grant), Adda Jane Scurr (re-grant), Alexander M*Caughlan, William Samuel Lee, Robert Cowan, Frank Hadfleld Statham, Thomas Arthur Fenn, Peter Jopp, Charles Rhodes Bovvmar, Jane Rowland, George Adnum Roach. Letters of administration were granted in tho estates of Norman Weslej Hensley, John Yates, John Swap (re-grant), Roderick Thomas Mackenzie, Thomas Foster. In re John Alfred Wolilers (deceased). — Motion for probate.—Tho deceased, when alive, was regarded as an alien enemy, and the judge's minute was: ' Before probato can be granted the consent of the Attorneygeneral must be obtained under sections 2 and 3 of tho regulations of, February 23, 1916, of " The War Regulations Act, 1914." In re James Bennett (deceased). —Motion to confirm registrar's report. —Report confirmed ; remuneration accordingly. In re Gavin M'Vie. —Motion to dispense with sureties to bond (Mr Grigor).— Sureties dispensed with. In're Thomas Newburn: In tho matter of an intended action against the New Zealand Coal and Oil Company.—Order in terms of prayer. In re caveat by David Wilson against land of Evelyn Mabel Moir. —Mr Scurr appeared to oppose.—The matter was allowed to stand over to givo Mr Henderson, of Invercargill, an opportunity to appear in support. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., v. Costello. — Motion for substituted service of writ and statement of claim.—Service to bo on/ Michael Costello, brother of defendant/ plaintiff to be at liberty to proceed as if personal service had been effected on defendant; costs reserved. In re Outram Societies Hall Company.— Summons to adjudicate upon debts. —Order made allowing debts as set out in the a£B--1 davit of the official liquidator.
