OCEAN BEACH DOMAIN BOARD
A meeting of the Ocean Beach Domain Board was held yesterday afternoon, and ■was attended by Messrs J H. Hancock (chairman), Taverocr, J. E. White, Green, Shaddock, H. H. S. White, and Clark. . Mr Tavomer was appointed treasurer, and the chairman, and Messrs Green and Shaoklook were elected a Works Committeo. Tho balaneo sheet, which was laid on the table showed an expenditure of about £580 for the year, and a credit balance of £212. —The balance sheet was approved. Tho Clerk of the St. Kilda Borough Council wrote under instructions from the council protesting against the board not giving earlier notice of tho coanbined meeting of the City Council and the Borough Council to elect a member of the board in place of Mi- G. Hodges, who' had retired by rotation, but had been eligible for re-elec-tion.— Regret was expressed that notice had rot been sent earlier, and it was decided to explain that tho short notice was due to an oversight. Accounts amounting to £84 Is 2d were passed for payment.
