ANOTHER ATTACK BROKEN.
LIQUID FIRE FAILS.
PARIS, April 11. A communique states: The Germans, using liquid fire, attacked Morthomme from Grows Wood. They were repulsed except on the east, where they gained a, ' footing in some portions of our trenches. East of the Meuse a German, attempt to retake the trenches they recently lost south of Douaumont village was also accompanied by the use of liquid fire, but it resulted in a bloody defeat for the enemy.
