ATTACK UPON SANNAIYAT.

THE ONSLAUGHT FAILS. TURKS CONFIDENT. / LONDON, April 10. (Received April 11, at 8.50, p.m.) General Lake further reports: The attack at dawn on the 9th inst. upon Sannaiyat failed to pierce the enemy's lines. The operations were much hain* pered by floods, which are extending. Constantinople telegrams state that the Turks express confidence regard' ing the situation in Mesopotamia. They have concentrated over 100,000 men at Mosul, 10 miles from Bagdad, and are feverishly constructing defence works. They believe they can thus withstand the combined British and Russian forces.
