Mails close at tho Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under:— THIS DAY (MONDAY), APRIL 10. For Niue, per North Express at 10 a.m. Lato-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van at 11.15 a.m. TUESDAY, APRIL 11. For _ Australian States, also Pago Pago, Expeditionary Forco (Egypt), South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Sottlemonts, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europo (due London May 24), (correspondence to be specially addressed via Suez), per Riverina, by North Express at 10 a.m. Lato-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van till 11.14 a.m. For Lyttelton and Christchurch, per Tarawora, 2 p.m. Lato-fee letters 3 p.m. on board. SATURDAY, APRIL'IS. For Fiji, Fanning Island, Canada, United States of America, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, otc. (due London May 18), by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van at 11.14 a.m.

Money orders for places within the dominion close ono hour before advertised time of closing letter mails. Money orders for places beyond the dominion for despatch by the North or South Express close at 4 p.m. the previous day. Registered mails close one hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails. Book packets, commercial papers, and newspapers close half an hour before the advertised time of letter mails.
