FORBURY SCHOOL OLD BOYS AND GIRLS' CLUB.

The annual report states that the season started with a tennis ladder tournament, in which the majority of the tennis-playing members took part. Later, a Yankee tournament was held, and some very pnjoyal?lo games were witnessed. Tho winners to date are: —Men's Singles, Mr Henry; Ladies' Singles, Miss Burrows; Combined Doubles, Miss Burrows and Mr Stoneham. Medals were donated to the club, and these' were awarded to Miss Burrows and Mr Ilendy. A learners' weekly dancing class was started, under the direction of Mr Smith, and it was tho means of increasing the membership. They were the means of adding between £3 and £4 to the funds of the club. Hie members hi r> for the year stands at 65, which is oonsidered very satisfactory. During the year tho club lost two of its officers—Mr Russell (member of committee) and Mr J. Kernohan (auditor) — on active service.
