January 25, At the Education Board this afternoon, in the course of a report on the big city schools, the Dental Association said that 836 children had been examined. The examiners had found two perfect sets of teeth. Tho number requiring no treatment was 27, and the number that had received previous treatment was 107. Every tooth was decayed in three cases, and there were no teeth in two cases. The extractions required numbered in -nil 2546, and the fillings required numbered 2652. In the ensuing discussion Sir Walter Buchanan said he thought that the Medical Faculty should by this time have come to some conclusion as to what was the reason for such a disastrous state of affairs. I It was decided to ask the Hospital Board to set up a committee to confer with the Education Board.
