ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Mr R. Scott, an elderly man, was admitted to the Wellington Public Hospital on Friday evening, with his throat cut (says the Dominion). He was reported last night to bo progressng favourably. Scott had bi.en an inmate of the Home for the Aged and Needy. James Ray, a waterside worker, whilo working in V shed at Wellington on Friday morning, received a deep wound, half an inch long, over his right eyebrow, and suffered slight concussion of tlie brain through a "jigger" falling suddenly (says the Times). Ray was attended by a doctor, and afterwards proceeded to his homo at Kilbirnie.
