The following- casualties to members of the Now Zealand Expeditionary Forces are announced, the names of next-of-kin being given in parentheses: — KHlad in Action. CANTERBURY BATTALION. (August 7, 1915.) Private LESLIE JESSON (Mrs F. Jesson, Hare-wood, Papanui, Christchurch, mother). Previously Reported Missing, now believed to be Dead. (As the result of a Court of Inquiry.) AUCKLAND MOUNTED RIFLES. Trooper EDWIN TENNYSON CONOLLY (Mrs Mary E. Conolly, Paeroa, Thames, wife). Previously Reported Wounded, rsow since Died from Wounds. (As the result of a Court of Inquiry.) WELLINGTON MOUNTED RIFLES. Lieut. NORMAN CHAMBERS HARRIS (Mrs B. C. E. Harris, Kohanga, Lower Riccarton).
