SMITH.—At Belmont, Western 1 Australia, on December 7, 1915, John Smith, second son of the late James Smith, of Howe street, Dunedin, brother of Mrs T. Wilkinson, sen. (of Warrington), Mrs R. T. Sparrow (of Middle-march), and James Smith (of Passmore crescent, Maori Hill). Deeply regretted. Late of the North Dunedin Rifles.
