THE PALMERSTON CEMETERY. TO THE EDITOR. Sib,— During the holidays I was a visitor to Palmerston South, and while there I visited the local eometery to see the .grave of a relative. I must say the neglected appearance of the place reflected anything but credit on those responsible, the grass on the paths being a foot high. On making inquiries I was given to understand that the funds are sufficient to keep the place in good order. If so, those responsible for the proper upkeep of the cemetery do not. give it the consideration and attention that is due to it.—l am, etc., A Visitob. Dunedin, January 15,
