Dunodin and Carisbrook played an interesting game, which resulted in a win for the latter just before time, Dunedin scored 180 for seven wickets and closed (M'Farlane 76 not out, Wycherley 58, D. Wilkie 15). Carisbrook replied with 190 for five wickets (Mathieson 66, Wolstenholme 44, H. Harraway, sen., 37, Cantrell 14, and H. Harraway, •jun., 10 not out). Wolstenholme (three wickets) and Ouddie (two wiokets) for the winners, and Wyoherley (three wickets) for the losers bowled best. After a very pleasant game Grange defeated Mornington 'by 157 runs. Mornington made 55 (John Ilaig 13, Watson 10, Edwards 10). Grange replied with 212 (Wright retired 54, Paterson 35, Forrester 29, Restieaux 24, M'Kenzie 16, Crosbie 17, Bennet 10). Wright, for Grange, took seven wiokets for 27 runs. iShaw and Watson bowled best for the losers. THIRD GRADE. The match Grange v. Opoho resulted in a win for the former by 164 runs. Grange, batting first, compiled 201 (Blackwood 65, Miller 51, Sullivan 31, Arthur 17, Pullar 14). Opoho responded with 37 (Simpson 15). For the winners Fogarty (7 wickets for 11 runs) and Miller (3 for 18) bowled well.
