M Venizelos is 51 years of ago. He is known as the " Bismarck of Balkan Diplomacy." He is a widower with two sons, and is really a Cretan, his father being expelled from the island by the Turks. In the Cretan revolt of 1836 Venizelos donned the Cretan costume and topboots, and aboved great military powerfl.
